Little Acorns is run by the management team together with the trustees who are volunteers who have an interest in the preschool; usually, but not exclusively, parents of children that attend Little Acorns. The trustees support the management team to oversee the running of the Pre-School. This ensures that families that use the setting are involved in any major decision making.
Our Annual General Meeting is held in October or November at which time trustees are re-elected and new members are elected. We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join us. If you are interested in joining the committee please let us know via either the Manager, website or Facebook page.
One of the main roles of the trustees is fundraising .Every year Little Acorns aims to organise a series of events to boost fundraising, we hold fayres, photo mornings and sponsored events.
If you have any new ideas on how we can raise funds please let us know. Equally if you are able to donate any time or resources to help fundraising we would be very grateful to hear from you. This may include help with maintaining outdoor equipment, gardening, sponsoring events, donating items for raffles etc.
